This line drawing was made digitally originally as a reference for a set of tattoos. I spent a lot of time focusing on balance and composition, which are some of the things I learned while in the ACAM program at my high school. I hadn’t originally intended to include it in my university portfolio, but at the encouragement of my friends, family, teachers and my tattoo artist, I did include it in the end and I’m glad I did. I think the attention to detail and attention to shape really elevated the piece and showcased some of my skills that are not showcased in many of my other paintings.
