Dazed

This illustration was one of the first I made using a pressure sensitive digital pencil and it taught me a lot about transparency and line weight in a composition. It was honestly so fun being able to play with pressure in my digital arts because for 4 or 5 years prior I had been working without it and I was surprised to find the new level of dimension I could achieve with one additional tool at my disposal. I found it much more natural as well, transitioning from a mainly traditional artist to a mainly digital one, because the use of pressure and angle is fundamental in traditional art and wasn’t previously an option for me on the digital side of things.
