This digital painting was done to honour the success that the cryptocurrency “DogeCoin” saw during the pandemic. It features the mascot of the crypto in front of our solar system. This painting was actually meant to be a commissioned piece, as a gift to someone who is no longer part of my life. This project taught me a lot about compromise when working directly with a client for a commissioned piece as they had a different image in mind for the final piece than I had. In the end, we found a compromise to make a beautiful and cohesive piece that satisfied both parties. I’m really proud of how the final image turned out, even if it wasn’t what I originally had in mind and it would be one of my favorite pieces for its detail and lighting effects.
